Dear JIC Family,

We hope this message finds you well. On the delightful occasion of Kartini Day, which we celebrated together on April 25, 2024, our JIC students showcased the vibrant diversity of Indonesia's culture by adorning themselves in traditional attire. It was heartening to see the campus alive with the colors and patterns of Batik, the elegance of Kebaya, and other traditional clothing styles. 

The spirit of unity and celebration filled the air as students mingled, sharing stories and insights into the rich heritage behind their attire. We were thrilled to witness everyone immerse themselves in the festivities, embracing the beauty of our cultural tapestry. 

Amidst the joyous festivities, we held a friendly competition where students had the opportunity to showcase their traditional outfits. We are pleased to announce Caroline Gracia from the MUFY Program and Shalsabella Floranida from the Diploma of Business Program as the winners of this special contest. Congratulations to them for their delightful victory!

Here at JIC, we believe that celebrating joyous occasions with students is important to building good relationships between students and also to faculty members. Kartini Day is just one of the many celebrations and events we have had at JIC, as we believe that celebrating joyous moments together gives students great memories that motivate them to do great in their future and their studies. 

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the students who participated, adding their unique touch to this memorable day. We look forward to many more celebrations and moments of togetherness in the future.
