Jakarta International College

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming important visitors from Monash University to our new campus. Fabian Marrone, who is the Chief Marketing, Admissions, and Communications Officer and Vice-President, led the visit. He was joined by Mark Scherian, Group Manager from Monash’s International Student Recruitment team, and Nicholaas So, Senior Regional Manager.

The purpose of their visit was to strengthen the long-standing relationship between Monash University and Jakarta International College (JIC) and to introduce them to our new, modern campus. During their visit, Fabian Marrone spoke with our Monash College students, giving them a brief introduction to Monash University. This was a great opportunity for our students to hear directly from a senior leader at Monash.

Our partnership with Monash University began in 2002 when we became the first and only provider of the Monash College program in Indonesia. Over the last 22 years, our collaboration has grown stronger, and we have successfully helped more than 2,000 students transfer to Monash University’s campuses in Australia and Malaysia. We are proud of the strong and lasting relationship we have built with Monash University and are committed to continuing this successful partnership.

Monash University has also shown its support for our students by offering an exclusive study grant of AUD 10,000 specifically for JIC students. We are very grateful to Fabian Marrone, Mark Scherian, and Nicholaas So for their visit today. Their presence highlights the strong connection between our institutions, and we hope they enjoyed their time on our campus. We look forward to welcoming them back soon.
