Jakarta International College (JIC) was thrilled to welcome students and parents to the February Intake 2026 Orientation Program, a fantastic start to their journey to top universities like Monash University and Western Michigan University! For two fun-filled days, students got a sneak peek into campus life, learned about what’s expected in their studies, and discovered the lively community that makes JIC special.

Day One: Setting the Foundation for Success

The first day was all about getting ready! We started with registration and collecting Photo IDs, followed by an inspiring introduction from Ms. Kiandra Susanto and a warm welcome from Ms. Fransisca Laij. Then, students had an Academic Orientation with Mr. David Henderson, where they learned all about academic standards, study tips, and what to expect in our internationally recognized programs, like the Monash College Diploma and WMU Pathway.

After a delicious lunch at the VIP Dining Hall, students dove into more detailed program information and enrollment sessions. The day wrapped up with book distribution at the library, making sure everyone was all set to dive into their studies. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement, motivation, and a shared goal of achieving great things.

Day Two: Building Confidence, Connections, and Community

Day One set the stage with solid academic knowledge, but Day Two really brought it to life with energy and excitement! The morning kicked off with a session on moving to university, helping students get ready to embrace independent learning and the global academic scene.

Then, the fun began with interactive team-building games and lively activities in the hall. As you can see in the vibrant moments captured during the session, students laughed, teamed up, and challenged each other in friendly competitions. These games weren’t just about having fun; they were designed to boost communication skills, encourage teamwork, and create lasting friendships. In just a few hours, new classmates became teammates and future study partners. The room was buzzing with enthusiasm, showing off the supportive and inclusive spirit of JIC.
