Dear JIC Family,

We're delighted to introduce our new students for October 2023. Welcoming them, we organized a three-day orientation to help them settle in and understand what life at JIC is all about.

Day 1 was academic orientation. New students got a thorough introduction to the academic side of things. They learned about our academic policies, enrolled in their courses, and discovered the support services available to help them succeed. We believe that a strong academic foundation is essential, and we're committed to guiding our students every step of the way.

On Day 2, we had special guests from our partner universities, including Monash University, Oregon State University, and Drew University. This visit provides students with valuable insights into their future options before they consider transferring out from JIC. It equips them with essential knowledge about the steps they must take to prepare for their future endeavours.

Day 3 was all about fun and teamwork. Students participated in games and activities to bond with their peers and develop essential collaboration skills. The highlight of the day was a treasure hunt game, where the winning team received exciting prizes. At the end of the day, students are encouraged to write a letter for themselves which will be opened after they graduate university.

We want to express our deep gratitude to the parents and students who've chosen JIC as the starting line of their education. Your trust drives us to provide a nurturing and intellectually stimulating environment.

As we move forward, we're excited to see the growth, achievements, and successes of our October 2023 students. Your support is at the heart of our dedication to helping them thrive.
