Jakarta International College
We are excited to share some outstanding news from Jakarta International College's Model United Nations Club! Over the weekend of October 19-21, 2024, our MUN team participated in the Beevolution MUN hosted by Binus School Serpong, and we are pleased to announce that they earned several impressive awards for their exceptional performances.

Our representatives—Daena Caitlyn Saputra, Georgia Audrey, and Joyce Ryo—truly excelled in their respective councils. Georgia, our vice leader, received the prestigious Most Outstanding Award in the WHO council. Her ability to lead discussions and respond to questions with both confidence and clarity was remarkable, demonstrating the skills that distinguished her from her peers.

Joyce, who participated in the UNICEF council, also made a significant impact. She earned two awards: the Best Position Paper and an Honorable Mention. Her strong research skills and ability to engage effectively with fellow delegates set her apart in her discussions.

Daena, MUN club leader, participated in the UNHCR council and achieved two top awards: the Best Position Paper and the Best Delegate award, which is the highest honor in her council. Her hard work and dedication were evident as she successfully navigated the complexities of the council discussions while also coaching her team members to excel in MUN.

We are incredibly proud of their achievements, having brought home a total of five awards! This accomplishment is particularly noteworthy for their first competition, reflecting their determination and teamwork. We believe this is just the beginning of even greater successes for our MUN Club.

Established in 2024, the MUN Club is a recent addition to our lineup of student organizations at JIC. Although it has just begun, the determination and success of its members are truly commendable.

Thank you, and stay tuned for more updates!
