Held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 4 PM to 8 PM, the party took place on the stunning 22nd floor of the Jakarta International Tower. With breathtaking views of the city as our backdrop, the event was filled with energy, excitement, and joy. From live performances to interactive games, every moment was packed with fun and connection.
One of the highlights of the night was the stage performances by The Next Door Crew (JIC Dance Club) and The Mavis (JIC Music Club). Their incredible talent and energy had the crowd cheering and dancing along. The performances truly showcased the creativity and passion of JIC students, leaving everyone in awe.
The party wasn’t just about performances. Our lively MC kept the atmosphere buzzing with interactive games, while the karaoke session gave students a chance to express themselves and sing their hearts out. Laughter and excitement filled the room as everyone joined in the fun.
A special tradition that warmed everyone’s hearts was “Mr. Postman.” Students had the opportunity to write anonymous messages to their friends or classmates, which were delivered during the event along with small gifts. This simple yet thoughtful gesture brought smiles, happy tears, and moments of connection, reminding everyone of the joy of giving and appreciation.
This year’s End of Year Party was even more special because it coincided with the Parents Teacher Meeting for students in the Monash College Diploma and American Degree Program. Many parents stayed for the festivities, getting a firsthand look at the vibrant and dynamic student life at JIC. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the JIC experience with families and show them what makes our community so unique.
The timing of the event couldn’t have been better—it came right after exams, giving students a much-needed chance to relax and celebrate their hard work. It was a perfect way to end the year, filled with laughter, smiles, and the strong sense of community that defines JIC.
The event’s success was all thanks to the hard work and dedication of the organizing committee, led by Carl Andersen Suryadi. Carl, who is preparing to graduate from the MUFY program, shared his thoughts on the event:
"It was an honor to lead the End of Year Party 2024, and I’m very happy to see that everyone enjoyed the event. I want to extend my gratitude to the entire committee and the staff at JIC for their support and hard work. A special thank you to Ms. Kiandra Putri Susanto and Ms. Din Imaniarti Hasnah for making this event possible."
Carl also shared his hopes for the next generation of student leaders, expressing confidence that future events will be even more spectacular. His words reflect the strong sense of teamwork and community that makes JIC such a special place.
As we say goodbye to 2024, we’re filled with gratitude for the memories created and the bonds strengthened during this celebration. To everyone who joined us, thank you for making the End of Year Party so memorable. Your energy and enthusiasm are what make JIC truly shine.
Here’s to more celebrations, laughter, and shared moments in the year ahead. See you at our next event!
With gratitude,
The JIC Team
