Guess what? The countdown to the JIC Halloween Party 2025 is officially on! And the excitement is already bubbling over! Now, the creative juices are flowing behind the scenes, where JIC students are hard at work crafting and designing mind-blowing decorations to turn the campus into a chillingly unforgettable Halloween wonderland.

For the past few days, groups of super enthusiastic students have been rolling up their sleeves, working together in both indoor and basement spaces to create Halloween-themed decorations. From building giant purple tentacles to crafting eerie sculptures and props, every piece is being lovingly handmade with teamwork, creativity, and a good dose of spooky spirit.

Armed with glue guns, hair dryers, spray paint, and loads of imagination, students are turning everyday materials into eye-catching works of art. Their latest project? Designing massive octopus tentacles that will appear to rise dramatically from the ground perfect for an undersea horror vibe! The collaboration has sparked excitement and laughter, turning preparation time into a fun, hands-on learning experience.

Creativity Meets Collaboration

The Halloween setup team isn’t just working on props. They’re combining artistic design with structural planning to make sure every piece is both visually striking and secure. It’s a true example of combining art, engineering, and teamwork qualities JIC students are known for.

Many participants have noted how this activity helps them connect with peers from different programs, practice problem solving skills, and express their creativity outside the classroom. The shared goal? To make the JIC Halloween Party not just entertaining, but unforgettable for everyone who attends.
